UAI-2000:
The Sixteenth Conference on Uncertainty
in Artificial Intelligence
Announcements
- June 12:
Poster size for poster presentations--both for UAI Technical Poster Sessions
and for the Joint UAI/COLT/ICML Poster session---is tentatively set at
30 inches X 40 inches (76 cm x 101 cm). We don't anticipate this changing,
but will make a confirming announcement here. Authors: it is a safe enough
bet to plan on this size currently.
- June 13: The location of the poster sessions has been changed:
UAI Poster sessions will be held at Elliot Program Center. The Joint
UAI/COLT/ICML Poster session will be held at Governor's corner. See
UAI-2000 Conference Schedule.
- June 13: Conference registration will be held at
the entrance to Terman Auditorium. See
UAI-2000 Conference Schedule
for further details and times.
- June 13: A (small) campus map with
UAI event locations marked is now available. This should help your
search for buildings (perhaps in conjunction with a larger campus map).
- June 13: Information for
UAI Presenters, specifically A/V equipment and poster sizes,
is now available.
- June 17: Due to temporary software difficulties, we have
as yet been unable to process credit card payments for registration.
If you sent us credit card information, you should have received an
acknowledgement, and you will receive another acknowledgement when the
charge goes through. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- June 17: Updated information for those
staying on campus at the link: Staying on Campus?
- June 17: If you arrive late Friday and are unable
to make registration on Friday before the event,
please bring your UAI email
registration confirmation to the Joint Poster Session and Reception for
admittance.
- June 26:
The specific room locations for all posters is
now available
(see the Friday evening schedule).
Since we have so many posters, UAI authors who have indicated that they
wish to participate should check the room assignment carefully. Please
also see the
guidelines
for the joint poster session to help with setup.
